The holiday season brings holiday cheer, and this year, the Alaska Botanical Garden and the Hotel Captain Cook have done their part to bring holiday spirit to locals and visitors alike. The Alaska Botanical Garden has lit up its grounds with holiday displays, creating a magical place to go when it’s time to get into the holiday spirit. While there check out the model train in the greenhouse and try out a kicksled. Tickets do need to be purchased online in advance.

Meanwhile, the Hotel Captain Cook is hosting an amazing gingerbread village that sprawls across the lobby halls of the hotel, giving visitors of all ages an unforgettable holiday experience. It’s the perfect place for families to take the kids to create some holiday memories they won’t soon forget! The best part is this is free, and open until New Year’s.
